Solar Imaging with DayStar Filters
I can't say I ever remember seeing 5 filaments in one image before. It is also unusual that they are not connecting opposing active regions.
Often, when we build large full disc composites, we see that these 'lost' filaments are part of larger structures that span enormous distances on the sun.
Some nice little Ellerman bombs in there too. Look quick. They don't last long.
