CNC Machine Operator
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Machine Operator located in Warrensburg, MO. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machines, setting up equipment, and executing machining tasks according to specifications. Daily activities include monitoring machinery performance, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Collaboration with team members and adherence to quality standards and production schedules will be essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating machines, CNC machining, and milling processes
- Experience in quality control and ensuring adherence to specifications
- Knowledge of machinery and equipment troubleshooting
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow safety protocols
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus
Physical and Environmental Elements
This is a production environment. Employees work in a factory environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable standing, stooping, or bending for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 100 pounds and climb stairs.
Experience / Technical Level Detail:
Opportunity exists for operators at various levels of expertise, from Level I apprentice to Level III Senior Operator. The ideal candidate may be within a wide range of experience level, but top hiring criteria dictate the candidate must demonstrate command of mechanical understanding, due diligence, as well as the interest and ability to continue to learn in a new environment.
Pay is commensurate with level of experience and capacity.
